Turbocharger models need to pay attention to 3 matters
For every owner, turbo is a word with turbocharger for having heard it many times, the car will be able to play no small role in the power and fuel economy, many owners have put it as a symbol of speed and passion. The turbocharged models in the latter part of the cost of keeping a car is a little expensive, if the owners have bad driving habits, lack of proper maintenance knowledge, turbo will make the vehicle performance and reduced life expectancy instead.
1., must choose high-quality oil
At present, most of the burning oil problems are caused by the sealing of the oil seal between the turbocharger and the intake pipe, resulting in the phenomenon of burning oil. Cycle and the main reason is the replacement of damaged oil seal oil is too long or the use of inferior oil, thus causing the turbine main shaft floating lack of lubrication and heat dissipation and damage the seal, causing leakage. Therefore the turbocharger is relatively "expensive", relatively common naturally aspirated engine, its oil demand more. Part of the phenomenon of burning oil mostly because of damage to the sealing and seal between the intake pipes, because the main shaft of the turbocharger is the floating type design, the main shaft depends on the lubricating oil cooling and lubrication, if the use of inferior oil, because of its high viscosity and poor fluidity, causes the floating the turbine rotating shaft can not be normal lubrication and heat dissipation. The choice of good oil in the oil, its oxidation resistance, abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance, lubrication and heat dissipation will be better
2. replace oil filter and air filter in time
Use the turbine type, usually pay special attention to the timely replacement of oil filters and air filters, and to maintain the cleanliness of the turbine. In general, the gap between the turbocharger shaft and the shaft sleeve is very small. If the oil used is not clean or the oil filter is not clean, it will cause excessive wear of the turbocharger.
Second, because the air contains a lot of impurities, once the dust particles into the high-speed operation, will cause dust particles hit the supercharger, resulting in unstable operation of the turbine, so that wear and tear. Periodically check whether the turbocharger is damaged or not. The trick is to hear if there is any unusual sound or unusual vibration, and whether the sealing ring is sealed or not.
3. cold start to slow down, and then turn off idle hot car
When the cold car starts, the oil temperature is usually lower and more viscous, which leads to poor lubrication, so the lubrication effect can not be reached until the temperature rises to normal temperature. In this process, if the turbine is forced to work at full load, it will wear out. Therefore, it is suggested that the cold car should run idle for 3-5 minutes before driving, or the low speed train can play a warm-up effect for a period of time.
When parking, the best first in place for a while and then idling flameout, because the turbocharger work, the temperature will be very high, out of the rear of the vehicle, because the turbine inertia will continue running for a period of time, that is to say at this time still need lubricating oil, if the car stopped immediately after then turn off the engine. The cooling system and lubrication oil supply will stop, it will hurt the vehicle bearing. Therefore, let the engine run 2-3 minutes before turning off so that the turbine has enough time to cool off. (automatic circulation cooling device type can be ignored)
